the step.
A half-turn (U-shape) staircase combining two typologies from our catalogue: floating — walnut treads cantilevered from a steel stringer concealed in the wall — and flying, where several steps use structural laminated glass as the load-bearing element itself, the glass carrying the tread with no steel beneath. A frameless glass balustrade and a matching timber handrail complete the run over a marble floor.
